Poquonnock Plains Pond

On days like today my basement and Poquonnock park both have new temporary water features. It was a muggy day to be out and about but I got to 49 of you today and we talked about some state agencies response times to organizations and how more can be done to let people do the real work and less of the paper work of government. It's important that state employees feel empowered to perform their functions to the best of their ability and to have some agency in doing so.

Also got to see another great example of the Groton beautification committees work. People engaged in making their communities thrive is always encouraging.

We are now north of 3,000 doors knocked, 585 since the last update. Each of you continues to be gracious and welcoming and I thank you all.

It was a whirlwind out there, talking to another 214 of you since last the update. We are in sprint mode now and need places to put signs up more than anything at the moment.
