A Privilege I Often Forget

I was in Branford Manor today talking to another 65 of you. I had a great couple of conversations on doorsteps but on one in particular I had to face a difficult truth. It is easier for me to feel comfortable and welcome in my own town than many of my neighbors. Two gentlemen told me that just going to the grocery store made them feel unwelcome, never mind interactions with the authorities.

As often as you can, be kind to strangers, they may be your neighbors.

We are now north of 3,000 doors knocked, 585 since the last update. Each of you continues to be gracious and welcoming and I thank you all.

It was a whirlwind out there, talking to another 214 of you since last the update. We are in sprint mode now and need places to put signs up more than anything at the moment.
